Scribbled on a matchbox

I saw a boy today, not a day older than 6. I was walking by his mother's hair salon. He was inside and smiling as he pointed a hair dryer at people outside as if it were a gun. It made me laugh and he did as well.

Tonight I saw a Korean girl and an army guy fighting...both equally as aggressive. Many swear words were exchanged. It made me sad.

Just now, as I am writing this, a Korean man (same age as me), walks by, sees me, and says "wow, handsome!" I say "you too!" We shake hands and are equally as happy.

The motto of this story? Be good to people.

Forgive me...I'm drunk.

No forgiveness necessary my son. Words, yet simple, so pure and full of meaning. Touches my heart to read. I agree, we sometimes forget something so fundamental, to be good to one another.
